Welcome to CoSeeker, a platform for seekers operated by K4M2A Foundation (“we”, “us”, “our”) — a place to read, write, and connect with fellow CoSeekers.
CoSeeker runs on the Authenticated Transfer Protocol (“AT Protocol”), an open, decentralized protocol that supports many different kinds of services. Together with our Guidelines and Privacy Policy, these Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CoSeeker application, website, and services (collectively, “CoSeeker” or the “Services”). By accessing or using CoSeeker, you agree to these Terms.
Scope: These Terms apply only to CoSeeker. If you use another application built on the AT Protocol (a “Third-Party Application”), that application's own terms govern your experience there. We are not responsible for the content or practices of Third-Party Applications.
1 Eligibility
To use CoSeeker, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you.
2 Your Account
To use CoSeeker, you must create an account (“Account”). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your Account, whether or not you authorized it. Do not share your Account or credentials with others or use anyone else's Account.
If you use CoSeeker on behalf of an organization or community, you confirm that you have authority to represent it.
You alone are responsible for protecting the security and confidentiality of your Account. If you believe your Account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@coseeker.org.
3 Your Content
- Content. “Content” means anything you share on CoSeeker — posts, reflections, comments, profile details, images, links, feedback, and direct messages.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your Content. You agree that your Content will comply with all applicable laws and with our Guidelines. By posting Content, you warrant that you hold or have secured all rights, licenses, consents, and releases necessary for your use of that Content and for our use as described in these Terms.
- Public by design. As described in our Privacy Policy, most activity on CoSeeker is public and may propagate across the AT Protocol network to services we do not control.
- Your ownership; our license. You retain ownership of your Content. By sharing Content on CoSeeker, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g., resize or reformat), distribute, and publicly display your Content in order to operate, provide, and improve the Services, including sharing it across the AT Protocol;
- allow service providers (such as hosting or content-moderation providers) to process your Content as needed to support CoSeeker; and
- remove, restrict, or modify the display of your Content if we believe it violates these Terms or our Guidelines.
- We will never sell your Content, and we will not use your Content in promotional materials without your permission.
- Deletion. If you delete Content or your Account, we will use reasonable efforts to remove your Content from CoSeeker and will signal the deletion to other AT Protocol services. Because the network is decentralized, copies may persist on services outside our control, and complete deletion across the network may not always be possible. To request removal from third-party services, contact them directly.
4 Community Conduct and Moderation
We use a combination of automated tools and human review to detect and act on content that violates the law or our Guidelines, prioritizing the swift removal of child sexual exploitation and abuse content, terrorism content, and other illegal material. We also rely on user reports and reports from law enforcement and civil society. CoSeeker is a space built on trust between seekers; misuse of spiritual trust, as defined in our Guidelines, is a moderation category we take seriously.
5 Feeds and Recommendations
CoSeeker may use ranking or recommendation systems to surface content, writers, or accounts. Third-party feeds, where supported, are governed by their own operators.
6 Reports, Complaints, and Appeals
- Reports. You can report posts or users using in-app reporting tools or by contacting contact@coseeker.org. We will notify users when we take enforcement action in response to a report, where required.
- Appeals. If your Account is suspended, restricted, or terminated, you may appeal using the in-app tool or by emailing contact@coseeker.org within two weeks of the action, with enough detail for a meaningful review. We will notify you of the outcome.
- Grievance Officer (India). In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, our Grievance Officer is: Dhruti Gandhi, contact@coseeker.org. We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days, or within such other period as required by applicable law.
7 Termination
- By you. You may delete your Account at any time in your settings. We will retain Personal Data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
- By us. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your Account or specific features without prior notice if: you violate these Terms, our Guidelines, or Privacy Policy; we are legally required to do so; or we believe your continued access poses a risk to CoSeeker, other users, or third parties.
- Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive (including the content license in Section 3 and Sections 9–12) survive termination.
8 Open Source and Third-Party Services
Certain parts of CoSeeker are built on open source software, including software licensed under MIT and Apache licenses. Use of those components is governed by their respective licenses. github.com/k4m2a
CoSeeker may link to or interoperate with third-party websites, services, and applications, including Third-Party Applications on the AT Protocol. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for them. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.
9 Disclaimers
10 Limitation of Liability
These limitations do not apply to liability arising from our fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K4M2A Foundation and its officers, trustees, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your Content; your use of the Services; your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or your violation of any third-party right.
12 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Talk to us first — most issues can be resolved informally. These Terms are governed by Indian law.
- Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, contact us at contact@coseeker.org and give us 60 days to try to resolve it before initiating formal proceedings.
- Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services, are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence, the courts at Gandhinagar, GJ, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13 Changes to the Services and these Terms
CoSeeker is evolving; we may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. We will post the revised version and keep previous versions available on request, and we will notify you of material changes through the app, website, or email before they take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not agree, stop using CoSeeker and delete your Account.
14 Intellectual Property
Except for Content owned by users and components licensed under open source terms, K4M2A Foundation owns all rights, title, and interest in CoSeeker, including the CoSeeker and K4M2A names, logos, design, and software, and all associated intellectual property rights. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property other than the right to access and use the Services as described.
15 General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Guidelines and Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder stays in effect.
- Notices. We may give you notice through the app, website, or the email associated with your Account; electronic communications satisfy any legal writing requirement.
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Services.
16 App Store Terms
If you download CoSeeker Powered Apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play (each an “App Provider”), the following also apply: these Terms are between you and us, not the App Provider; the App Provider has no responsibility for the app or its content, and no obligation to provide maintenance or support; we, not the App Provider, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including intellectual property claims; the App Provider and its affiliates are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them; and you must comply with applicable App Provider terms.
